The cult drink from the 80s celebrates its brilliant comeback with a new design and revolutionary digital printing technology
It convinces with different digital applications. The interplay of creation, product design, lithography and revolutionary digital printing technology has resulted in a unique example of the latest technical possibilities. The label becomes an experience and invites to an initial emotional contact with the product.
Thanks to the intensive collaboration of production design and manufacturing, the new inkjet printing process for ink and varnish has been used in the best possible way. The result: visual and haptic refinements in just one stage of the printing process. To show the possibilities, two versions were selected: one with and one without soft-touch lacquer. A special 3D cold foil was applied inline to the substrate, which was then printed as 8 colors digital inkjet.
Furthermore they decided to use versions of the digital inkjet varnish. The 8c inkjet print on cold foil in combination with digitally applied inkjet varnish simulates spectral light refraction effects and makes the water droplets appear real. The partially elaborated structural elements are achieved by the digitally printed inkjet varnish. This makes the fruit haptically. Especially in fast-moving times there is a longing for familiar retro ones. Now we have succeeded in revitalizing a cult product even before the first sip.
